These magnificent dogs hail from the Abruzzi Mountains of northern Italy where they have guarded their flocks for hundreds of years. They are intelligent and capable of amazing split-second decisions that can mean life or death to your stock. Maremmas bond strongly with the stock they guard and with the people that care for them. Our Maremmas are important members of our family, for we could never raise sheep without them.

Abruzzi, our male, is of 100% Italian parentage, bringing vital new genetics to our breeding program. He is incredible! Maudie, our female, is a great granddaughter to our original line and is a beautiful and courageous guardian.
